Are You Paying for Vegetable Oil?
I'm paying roughly 60 as for one 35 pound container of frier oil. That's pretty much double the price of what i paid probably about two years ago, double the price. Right now, i go through about probably between 800 to a thousand gallons a week. A lot of our food is deep fried. We filter it twice a day. I make sure the guys properly skim the oil and everything,. try to get all the impurities out but it just gets used so much that it breaks down very, very quickly.
