How to Make Self Pacing Successful in Learning Environments
Don't assume your students know how to self pase, says Meg. There will never be a system or routine that works for every class or every student. Even my high school seniors needed extreme scaffolding every single year. And i have one class where, like everyone is racking it with myself pacing. I have no problems. It's a dream, except for one student, right? and i need to try everything under the sun to make it work with that one student. So just understand that that is going to be part of the process, and it's normal and it's ok.
