Siri is an interesting example. To be able to activate a voice command at any time without interacting with the device is great. But that requires having the main CPU on all the time, like processing audio buffers. And you simply can't do that. It trains the battery. That attempt led to eventually having a just dedicated co processor that runs at a lower power and it's very limited and restricted. Is there a person in this job it is to take all things in your account and say, I decided, given the members from everybody that thermals, you guys need to work on this? Not exactly. So like a given team, usually some of their priorities will be internally determined.
