How Malism Was Made by Aaron Moore

Denise is working on a project that tentatively and I've entitled furnishing socialist China. The idea really is to explore everyday material life and furniture between the 1940s and the 1990s. She's also doing another edited volume this time with Aaron Moore who's a historian of China and Japan at the University of Edinburgh. How Malism Was Made has more than 16 contributors so actually it was about 18 or 19. We're examining how work and the concept of making a new society actually in concrete terms influenced many aspects of life during the early PRC.
