The Importance of Immobilizers in Car Sales

The absence of an immobilizer on its own probably wouldn't account for this much of a spike because you still need to know how to halt by a car. Unless Kia's were designed with a physical security flaw that made doing that exceptionally easy, a child could literally do it. The phone charging cable that almost every teenager has kind of explains why this car was so uniquely hot-wireable. But it goes without saying, please don't use this as an instruction manual to steal a Kia.
