Maxwell didn't take the stand in her own defence. The government really showed in enclosing arguments and rebutal that that was a patently false lie. She's going to appeal. Appeals are always very difficult to get your conviction overturned. Were there any obvious points of appeal? Well, i'm sure they're going to ask the port of appeals to read you the judges decision on that.
