How I Got Started in DSA

DSA was a small group between 10 to 15 people in Austin and we ended up with after he came on we hired two more DSA people all were very good worked very hard but one of the things without saying all the alphabets I hired people from a half a dozen left-wing groups. One of my close friends the guy named Travis Donahoe who had been DSA  from the time he was 18 or 19 when he worked as a library worker for AFSCME in Fort Worth. He helped build the University Employees Union that we affiliated into the state employees union.
