How Did You Get Your First Job at Rolling Stone?
i grew up in greenwich village, which was a sort of pre gentrification where it was more like artists and old ladies sitting in their fold-out chairs out on the sidewalk. When i was 14, i desperately wanted to start playing in bands, cause that seemed like the coolest thing ever. Tried to take classical piano lessons and failed miserably. My family and my kid friend's family were very much in the music business, or adjacent to it. And we'll talk about that ind the context of rolling stone, too.
