What Is the Difference Between Self-One and Self-Selves?

Timothy Galway wrote a book in the 1970s called Thinking Fast and Slow. In it he says that we are actually two different entities or two different selves which are called self-one and self-two within one person. With tennis players they play their best when they're in a condition known as being out of your mind so to speak. The player is more aware of the ball and the opponent but the mind is less active. Timothy Galway tells us that this is a gift that cannot be brought into existence for any reason.
