Karens tend to think that they're objectively right. They've grown up in a particular way where the world needs to conform to my wants. And so they sometimes feel like this petty person is gape heeping me. This person must be incompetent because they're not providing me with what i want. I get angry, so let me talk to your manager - surely someone with more power and more competence than you is more likely to agree with me. That's the idea behind the karen. It's because, like, i'm objective, right? So the more powerful you get and the smarter you get, the more likely they are to fix this problem on my behalf.
