Freud's Theory of Trauma

Freud imagined trauma as some kind of dense, raw presence. Presence of some real which brutally intrudes into our symbolic space and curves it. This would be the first approach. But then Freud noticed some strange things. Let's recall his best known analysis of Wolfman.
