The Candle and the Piece of Bread

The candle, to me, was dynamic range. The piece of bread not only showed the detail in the like grain in the middle of it, but the outskirts of it,. Some of the pieces of bread looked super pale, and some of them looked like, nice and warm brown. Ye, we didn't atlowgh for this poto. You know, i don't think anyone's changing their smart phone camera toting because of our smart phone camera test. But in theory, if you were, how would you design the best performing smart phone camera?...
