The Origins of Star Names
There are many stars that are known to antiquity when you think about Betelgeuse or Alderaan. And so all of those stars, formal Hout, they all, Alpha Centauri, they're named after the constellations that they're in. So there's all of these different star catalog names. In many cases, the same object is in multiple catalogs with just different names. The exoplanets are named after the star.
