I'm not up in arms about it. I think the person responsible for giving it to him is a wonderful modernist academic, Sarah Danius. She's a kind of very, very, very serious academic who's just this year been a in made chair of the judges. And I think she had a sense that she wanted to do something that would generate. Christopher Rex has been banging on that. The longer the long and the nobel indeed, the greater the scope is for gaming the system and corruption of all sorts. It makes it have continuity in a way which can be a problem over time.
