In Genesis 2.15, God takes Adam and places him in the garden to guard it. In verse 3.23, we're told that Adam is being sent out of Eden,. le ova'ot et Adhamah, to work the land. But his exile only mentions working the land. Something isn't adding up? Rabbi Forman nudged by Foreman to take a closer look. The tragedy is mankind whose job it was to guard the tree of life has been abandoned.
