Don't give up on the process. Look at that goal and adjust it to what is now the better representation of what success looks like for you. What about a team or an organization? How does the u for them? I can think of an example recently of a company were working with a small business, and initially they'd set a revenue target for themselves. The revenue itself wasn't what got them out of bed in the morning. It was the people. And so they shifted their goal to the number of people they could impact.
