The Lord Transforms Us Through Life

The phrase from glory to glory involves a gradual, incremental process. Paul knew that god's complete salvation involves more than regeneration and more than just the coming transfiguration. He realized we need to be saved in the divine life in such a way that our soul is permeated with the glory of god so the lord can shine himself out from us. To have this, we must have the actual, daily, progressive experience of christ as life.
