In 1518, a woman in Alsace began to dance without any musical accompaniment and would not stop. Shey says her husband was like bitter, mind-life, stop and mid to dancing. In his 1494 best-selling book Ship of Fools, humanist cleric and satirist Sebastian Brandt wrote this little bop.
