Buster Keaton's parents traveled with Houdini for a while. He was really a better pitchman than anything else, which came in handy when he had a performing prodigy for a son. By the time Buster was six years old, like one year into performing, they've gone from Mohawk Indian medicine show to vaudeville circuit. But people were genuinely wowed by the performance of this five and a half year old kid.
