Many men right from the start come into a really ambivalent relationship with their own body. Women are still brought up to have much more physical contact. Men aren't really encouraged to be in touch with the wider aspects of their body, or even to receive much touch in our society. There's a lot of this subtle energetic stuff that's going on underneath and it's very unspoken about.
