The Consequences of Death Denial
If you really believe in paradise, then it becomes a perfectly rational thing to do. That's what worries me about the consequences of these specific ideas. These memes are contagious. It's possible to acquire this belief even relatively late in life. And it changes the operating instructions of a human life totally. I'm pretty pessimistic that we can achieve this on a global level.
