Spock was perfectly poised to be the worst possible life partner for psychologically complicated Jane Cheney. Her strong character and vibrant mind drew him in. Then he rebelled against her, taunting her in the exact way he knew would get her where she lived. She was upset by my continuing flirtatiousness with other women. I didn't like being told I couldn't dance cheek to cheek.
