Can God Command Torture?
"I think we don't have to worry about whether God can motivationally command," he says. "We can imagine not God doing this, but a different kind of deity, an evil deity." The problem is not that God might command torture, the issue is no one can make torture right? He asks if on divine command theory there are worlds where the obligations are in some other world it's OK to torture.
