Gibbs: Everything that's led up to this is leading down a very bad path, right? You can see that. There's no good outcome. No, everybody should be able to see that all these things are leading to something bad. So this brings us up to the murders. This is when Herbert Mullen commits his first murder. And we're just driving along in his car,. and he passes a man named Lawrence White, who's walking. He stops the car, opens up the hood, and he sets this whole thing up to look like he's having car trouble. The next victim was Mary Guilfoyle; she was a student at Cabrillo College.
