The Importance of Reaching Out Across Party Lines
In California, when we've had to pass things with some fairly narrow margins with with SB nine, for example, which effectively ended single family only zoning in California. We needed Republican votes to get that passed. And so I think it is important to reach out across party lines in any state really,. In any state where people are trying to pass the NBA legislation because there will certainly be members of both parties who are sympathetic to the need for land use reform.
