For me, i'm a verbal learner, and reading is 100% the best way to do it. I studied mandarin for many years in the past, and my mandarin is terrible. It's all about mind set and shifting your mind set. In everything, you have to have those micro steps that you can celebrate winds for. So yes, celebrate those microlents, absolutely.
