The Values of Democracy
Democrats could easily lean into the idea that we are people ask for a lot of parties in this country. They say it's not fair that we only have two parties. And I always argue that we do have more than two parties. They're just all under the Democratic umbrella that anyone from, Joe Biden to Nina Turner are not the same party. There should be multiple ways of doing it. You look at systems in Europe that are working. That's about seven parties and you have to find coalitions and you must work together. That's what the Democrats do every day. And that's because we were the party of democracy."
