Meredith monk is a vocalist herself, and she's always been quite experimental in her approach to using the voice. She has as you picked up on, with the ums and ars and different ways of using the voice to make music. The next piece is the opening movement from francis poulanc gloria, 19 59. Smiles and contemplation. I am in trouble and i'm going to be told off. That's what i feel like. When i listened to this, it was that having to wear my best frock and watch the procession of very important people that were coming in or that where i felt, that's where it went. It makes me panic.
