Cosmology seems kind of fascinating too from the... I guess here's a question that perhaps you'd be able to answer just speaking of this sort of cosmology. Is it possible that it's smooth expansion that's been distorted at points in some strange way? You mean when you cross over from one epoch to another? Yes. That's kind of fascinating in its own right. And if you were to look at this more realistically with inhomogeneities, then those transitions would smooth out.
