Is There a Difference Between Sense Perception and Observation?
By the time we're adults, we've automatized so much conceptual knowledge that it's not like when I look at you, I see a human being and there I see a room. There's all sorts of knowledge that without me even trying is automatically part of this presentation of awareness. The actual act of perception is just the automatized or I'm sorry, not the automatic awareness that comes from me interacting with the world. It was something acquired over time and automatized and I'm able conceptually to strip it away from theactual act of perception.
