Prostocyclin and the Role of Prostaglandins in Respiratory Failure

Prostocyclin has numerous mechanisms of action as you've alluded to. It is, of course, acting in an anticoagulant way by re-establishing the glycocholics. But that's an indirect effect. It's not an effect on the circulating blood. So in essence, in terms of the respiratory failure, you're expecting this to restore the barrier integrity of the blood gas barrier. Would that be right?
