Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark Books

Liz has never even heard of, let alone read any of the scary stories to tell in the dark books. But she susses them out real quick. My favorite story from those books is a story that is just literally not a scary story. It's like a couple went to Mexico and purchased a dog,. A rare breed of dog from a dog vendor in Guadalajara. They bring it back and the dog acts funky. He's like always sniffing around on the trash and like scurrying. And then one day, someone looks at the dog and it's like, actually, you just got a big ass rat.
