The Future of AI Assistance

I wonder if the first reasonable step is going to end up being robot rights for the sake of the humans. We have certain norms about how when you go to your friend's house and they have a dog there, we havecertain norms about how you interact with the dog. And I feel like it would be very easy to make that connection with these future robot pals as well. But also you got to think like, there's a lot of humans out there who are really shitty to one another.
