The Importance of Views of Scripture
I think views of Scripture are really important. If we don't know what the Bible is, we won't know how to use it rightly. C.S. Lewis: First rule of interpretation is you have to know what kind of thing you're interpreting or dealing with. I define discourse as something somebody says to someone in some way for some purpose. And so, to be biblical, I've got to do justice to every one of those phrases.
