The majority of tech companies today, even if they truly wanted to, can't actually automate everything because of compliance reasons. It seems that one of the biggest bottlenecks is just the fact of waiting for the review and merger approval from someone on another team That isn't the person who sits virtually next to you. And every single time that has to do with ownership and dependency. I mean, it's very rare these days that we actually get to fully own as a small team.
