All-Black Coach, Will You Rely on the System to Produce That Talent?
First 15 rugby is becoming the talent factory ahead of club rugby and as club rugby slowly dying in New Zealand. The key to me has always been getting around the franchises, the clubs, sitting down with the coaches and the players,. sharing all your ideas. And every time you share an idea, you get four or five back. For me, my greatest personal development during my time with the all-black was from the super rugby teams because I could co-face that innovative with some great coaches. There's some absolute geniuses in New Zealand rugby. We have this incredible ability to track players, see who the top players were in each position. A lot of it was based on repeated effects
