Dr. Hussein Yasin is an associate professor in the Department of Medicine, Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. He directs the Yasin Lab, which specializes in how changes in lipid metabolism and nutrition affect cognition and the risk of developing Alzheimer's disease. The lab has an interest in studying how carrying the APOE4 allele, the strongest genetic risk factor for developing Alzheimer’s disease, affects Lipid metabolism.
