The terms you use that do the most work to get this a, to make this visible, are occupancy and eviction. Could you explain to us why these two concepts are so helpful for seeing links between desperate histories we don't usually put together? You know, i've done some writing about long termism, about how how we learn from history to think about the long term. And i have some very specific angles in mind there. In particular, the kind of work that i'm doing in this book of taking a single theme and using a very long term of history to understand when there was a discontinuity in time.
