In the world of big fertility, it's exactly the opposite. In adoption, adults do hard things for kids. But in the world of reproductive technologies, there's no screening,. There's no background check. The only check that has to clear is the check at the bank. And so you have singles or doubles, men, or women who are walking out of the hospital with a totally unrelated child where nobody's vetted them. We don't know where they're going.
