GOLO will map the sky at relatively high resolution and good sensitivity. What we'll see immediately is the structure of that plasma that fills the spaces in between stars and galaxies. We'll learn something about the magnetic fields that thread through it. And we'll have another perspective on our galaxy and on our local neighborhood.
