The Panic of the Norman Army
An old woman was standing on a structure made out of wood and surrounded by kindling. She needed to get off this thing and run, like now. If those fires didn't get her, the Englishmen that she'd just been flashing definitely would. But here's the thing. The Norman army weren't exactly focused on safety when they were building this thing. So in her panic, the old woman fell from the tower and broke her neck. Meanwhile, the fleeing soldiers, quote, stupefied and greatly alarmed, were fleeing blindly into the marshes.
