The pain pathway that's ascending up the spine is ascending on the opposing side. That's leading to some afferents, that's hitting some sympathetic or parasympathetic efferents as it's traveling up the spine. This kept happening for weeks without us finding an obvious reason for it. So we did a CT scan and we found on the contralateral side, there was a little lesion that we had to drain.
