It's a very common theme, I guess, in philosophy that when flips between the sublime realm of ideas and highly idealized situations. You have to say, is this still relevant? It's like you do a bunch of maths and you're like, does this supply to the universe? And I guess people sometimes do have different judgments on whether it's still relevant as you've made it stranger and stranger. Maybe that's now the philosopher in me rather than the physicist or the engineer in me.
