The probability of humanity going extinct because of advanced AI systems is less than 1%. The other 99% is like a large fraction that is like... Okay, I separated the probability of going extinct due to purely AI kind of issues versus AI being used by humans. And there was a total probability. Well, basically what's the total probability that people finally managed to destroy themselves? Before you die. More than 50%. Um... Oh. Maybe I merge with ETR and it will live forever. Or maybe not. But, um... Boy, this question about putting probabilities on, um... Kind of the tail of the distribution events is very interesting.
