Is There a Difference Between Calculator and Calculator?

I think teachers had abandoned that at some point the belief that students were going to do arithmetic. This kind of sucks because it is akin to a calculator for reasoning. If you use it to substitute actually reading, you know, Antigone or Hamlet or Pope's version of the Iliad or whatever, then you're going to miss out on what's important about that.
