As a child and adolescent psychiatrist that works mainly with young people, the context of the patient's life is extremely important. So culture can affect how they cope, how they seek help. And also at times, you know, the presentation itself, we express our distress differently depending on the culture that we're living in. That understanding is so important for the therapeutic alliance that then moves into how potentially successful the treatment for the patient is.
