What I'm Afraid of Is That They Don't Want Opposition
Part of it is a genuine fear that we may roll back some of their successes, or what they think are successes. They're used to being able to run the table on these things and get them implemented over token opposition. And then they become kind of permanent law of the land policy. I remember reading Bork's, not exactly autobiography, but the book that Robert Bork wrote and published after his confirmation battle in 1987.
