Don chip was a member of the liberal party, very well respected and classic small el liberal. He got disenchanted with malcolm fraser who he regarded as right wing. Malcolm fraser threw open the borders of australia to let in refugees from cambodia and refugees from viat nam. That's why astraa's got this incredible mixture of cultures these days. Now we find ourselves with a party which is pure right wing, quite reactionary, imprisons, ar refugees.
