The Responsibility of Christians to Speak Truth to Power
In light of the protests over the climate crisis, what responsibility do we have as Christians to speak truth to power? Can it even be appropriate for a Christian to break the law, given that we're commanded to actually submit to authorities? And I suppose he may have in mind things like the Extinction Rebellion movement and some of those protests we saw last year. Obviously, some people got arrested in the protests. People do get arrested sometimes, and there are brothers and sisters around the world who get arrested for bearing faithful Christian witness,. We must honour that.
