Rise and Shine is an acronym that stands for a lot of the tools that you offer in your book. It includes positive affirmations as well as creative visualizations, which I've found to be quite useful. What's really fascinating is so many of us use that capacity negatively that we're thinking about that dinner party. So actually taking that skill and rather than rehearsing what all the disasters that our mind is bringing up that could be, we can actually focus on how do I want it to go? How do I want others to feel?
Research has shown that how you spend your morning can have a significant impact on the rest of your day. If you start off feeling anxious and frazzled, chances are you'll end the day feeling the same way. But if you use the first hour after waking up to boost your mental, emotional, and physical well-being, you can set yourself up for a productive and memorable day.
Today, Rufus learns how to craft the perfect morning routine from Toby and Kate Oliver, the authors of "Rise and Shine: How to Transform Your Life, Morning by Morning."
